International Paleontology Illustration Competition at

XXII Congresso Brasileiro de Paleontologia

 


The International Paleontology Illustration Competition was created to promote paleontology encouraging art-related illustrations and models. The prizes went both to the most aesthetically appealing and scientifically accurate art works.


The paleoart contest was one of the highlights of the  XXII Brazilian Congress of Palaeontology (held the last October in Natal, Brazil), it was a big success with 78 great Paleoart works by artists from 14 countries and thousand of people attending the event.


We are very pleased to announce the Italian-talented PaleoNature.org artist Loana Riboli  won the Honorable Mention with:
